Subject: A Peeper Comes Out
Hello Davin,
This is from me to you. Now you've stuck in your toes, you found that it is warm and inviting, you don't see any crocodiles just yet, but you are mindful. I like it and I welcome you if that should mean that you will shelve the peeping lenses for a while and participate. But just a piece of advise if you don't mind.. get some epsom salt, pour some in the warm water. It helps to relax you toes and makes you want to keep them there longer... :)
Your career or involvement with a conflict resolution institution prompts me to engage you in a matter quite dear to me regarding this hanging man. Maybe we can learn some lessons from your experience. I know you will love it and have lots of expertise in the field. One of the ways we have suggested to lower this hanging man is to get together his elders, ask them to take care of him until at least his wonds from the hanging are little better off, set him back to his village, and help him to cultivate the land to feed his people. In the interim,we ask the elders to help us rearrange this guy's life and them they can go back to their respective "corners of SL" (I borrowed this phrase from Mr. Vidal Smith. All credit is due to him).
Maybe you may want to know a little about this hanging guy. Here are some references but you are free to get as many as you could from any source. Go back to the summer of 1994 and the period between August and December and read everything you can find on PC Alternative. But to get you started, here are some recent articles you might find helpful: The premise by Saffa Kemokai, Common Sense by Kelfalla Kallon, The RUF Insurrection... by PK Muana.
There are so many stories out there to walk you through this assignment that you will be amazed. I can also send you the complete instructions to this hanging man and the elders if you can send me a private email of your snail mail address.
Based upon your findings and the instructions handed out, what you think or suggest..? Would the clapping of the hands and tightening the rope a little tighter help this guy better..? You must consider the surroundings of this guy as much as you could. You would have overcome the need to be a peeper when you finish this assignment. Oh by the way Davin, I forget that you usually work well under pressure. How about couple of days, a week perhaps.. this guy is really hanging...!
Goodluck...
