elections on the signing of a peace accord in Sierra Leone.

When you have been able to accurately assess "cause and effect" please let me know. For now, however, your proferred direction of causation between elections and the signing of the Peace treaty is problematic, as far as I am concerned. Drowning in a sea of examination books and term papers at the moment, I think that the additional benefit (in terms of a better understanding of our disagreement) of continuing this debate is likely to be much lower than the additional opportunity cost of doing so. Hence, I’ll unilaterally throw in the proverbial towel. In the interest of efficiency, therefore, I suggest that we ASSUME that your proferred direction of causation between the elections and the Peace Accord is correct.
