Cecil,
I have no doubt that you mean well for our country and that you want the junta out as soon as possible but I don't understand this stuff about "ethnic mandate." This is not about ethnic mandate and ethnicizing the armed resistance only plays into the hands of the junta. This is why some of us were mightily relieved when the Kamajors joined forces with the Kapras. Ours is a national struggle, not an ethnic one. Also we don't have to wait for Kabba to declare the Conakry agreement dead for us to reach this conclusion. Without force, the junta will never have signed this agreement and without force, they will never honor it. We have to keep their feet to the fire if we are to expect them to be out by April 22. The CDF raised the ante after it became clear that the junta was stalling and had no plans to step down come April 22. The junta cannot be trusted and to do so will only prolong our collective anguish.
