When Foday Sankoh's fighters hit the borders of
Sierra Leone from Liberia along Pujehun and Kailahun districts, and Bambay
Kamara was told to investigate, he reported back to Momoh's government, that the
people in those areas were merely having family feud and the government need not
worry about it. It is said that Bambay Kamara was the head of the national
security forces. Today, the national landscape is covered with pictures like the
one on your right.
