Sourie Turay:
No one disputes the fact that the "parents" who have successfully adopted the children are to be considered the "real parents" from now on. The issue being advanced at least from my point of view is that out of country adoptions come with a heavy baggage among which are factors that are socio-cultural. That assertion, I believe, requires no lengthy justification. There are too many examples to support it. Secondly, I find your reference to being "liable" baffling. On what basis are you making such a statement? What do you mean by medling? There are many ways of dealing with the idea of "keeping track" without the bleak consequences you tend to imply. Please treat the questions above as rhetorical. They are really not worthy of our time for engaging in lengthy exchanges.
Finally, Pinkie's efforts were not maligned in the posting. As we continue to be grateful for all assistance rendered, there is room also to consider factors that my help in arranging future adoptions. That was basically the rationale for my supporting Dr. Hinton's idea of keeping track. With regard to our country, I agree with you whole heartedly. Welcome to leonenet my brother.
